DAY 1: SINGAPORE -- HOBART

Depart on SIA chartered flight for Hobart, the capital city of Tasmania – one of the world’s most beautiful cities in the world.

DAY 2: HOBART – LAUNCESTON (Chinese Dinner)

Upon arrival, we will take a leisure drive up into the historic town of Richmond, previously a military post and a convict station. After which we will continue our drive up to Launceston – the second largest city of Tasmania and also the gateway to the North. City sights will take you along the magnificent original Victorian streetscapes and architecture buildings that depict a historic ambience of the city. Launceston has its own piece of wilderness – the Cataract Gorge Reserve. Where you can ride on the world’s longest single span chairlift and get a magnificent view of the Gorge.

DAY 3: LAUNCESTON (Breakfast / Western Lunch)

Today, we will depart for Grindelwald Swiss Village, an authentic Swiss Style village set in rolling hills of the picturesque Tamar Valley. Next stop will be the Sea Horse Farm and Interpretation Centre designed for people to enjoy a sample of the island life of Tasmania – learn about the sealife, admire the fine Tamar Valley craft ware and soak up the aquaculture and maritime history and culture. Next we head on to Pipers Brook Winery – where you will be able to view how wine is been produced and also to do some wine tasting. Continue our journey to Bridestowe Estate Lavender Farm – the largest oil-producing lavender farm in the southern hemisphere. Great opportunity to purchase some lavender products.

DAY 4: LAUNCESTON (Breakfast / Dinner)

Departs for Sheffield ‘the town of Murals’ in the morning. The Cradle Mountain Wilderness tour begins after leaving Sheffield. We will start our climb into the Cradle Mountain World Heritage area and stop at the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre. Continue our tour to Dove Lake – the awesome beauty of this region is truly inspiring. You will see the faces of all creations around you in the mirror lakes and rugged mountain peaks. Leaving Dove Lake travel via Mole Creek to Marakoopa Caves to see the spectacular glowworms. Next arrive at the Honey Farm at Chudleigh and see how thousands of bees make honey, you will also have the opportunity to sample the honey and to purchase some real Tasmanian honey.

DAY 5: LAUNCESTON – HOBART (Breakfast / Christmas Eve Dinner)

Depart Launceston for the historic village of Ross. Continue our journey to meet the Tasmanian Devils at the Bonorong Wildlife Park, wander with the free ranging native animals – Kangaroos, Wallabies and meet the Australian Koalas before departing for Hobart. Visit to Cabury Chocolate Factory, where you can sample and purchase chocolates from the chocolate shop. Upon arrival into Hobart, go on a city sight of the city and a visit to Mt Wellington for spectacular view of the river and Hobart City.

(Subject to weather conditions, otherwise visit will be substituted with Mt Nelson instead)

DAY 6: HOBART (Breakfast / Asian Lunch)

This morning our first stop will be the Sorell Fruit Farm – where you will have the opportunity to hand pick cherries, tayberries, raspberries, strawberries etc. spoil yourself completely with a free tasting of one of the unique, lusciously fruity, award winning fruit liqueurs. After which, travel towards the Tasman Peninsular where you can marvel at the dramatic coastal cliffs, blowholes, Devil Kitchen and the Tasman Arch. Next, take a step into history with a trip to Port Arthur – Australia’s most captivating historic site. Learn about the history of Port Arthur and Australian convict heritage. Enjoy a harbour cruise that provides an enthralling insight into the hardships endured by the convicts.

DAY 7: HOBART (Breakfast / BBQ Lunch)

Depart Hobart and travel via the scenic Huon Valley to Geeveston and onto the breathtaking Tahune Airwalk. Here you will go on a guided “tree top walk” at almost 40m above the riverside rainforest canopy. It’s promised to be a magical experience and totally awesome! Next visit to the Huon Valley Mushroom Farm. The leading growers of specialty mushroom in Australia to enjoy a sumptuous tasting of the mushroom. After which jump on a Jet Boat ride down the Huon River, narrowly miss tree stumps on this speed machine as your driver makes a spin a full throttle. BBQ Lunch will be served alongside of the Huon River. After lunch, proceed to the Huon Valley Apple and Heritage Museum to learn about their apple-growing heritage.

DAY 8: HOBART – MELBOURNE (Breakfast)

Visit to Salamanca Market and stroll along the 1830’s sandstone warehouse that are home to galleries, studios, reataurants and cafes. Stalls here peddle an eclectic mix of groovy home ware, a dizzying array of bric-a-brac, magnificent arts & crafts, gorgeous fresh produce and street performers to boot. Early afternoon transfer to the airport for your flight to Melbourne. Upon arrival, city sight will include Fitzroy Garden, Domain Garden, War Memorial, Parliament House etc. Next visit to the Melbourne Aquarium, a total entertainment facility which incorporates state of arts interactive technology. The rest of the day will be free at leisure.

DAY 9: MELBOURNE – SINGAPORE (Breakfast)

After Breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
